AnaMarija Spasenovic is the founder of ART SAM Studio and a visual artist whose practice is shaped by an interdisciplinary approach to materials, processes, and visual expression. She holds a degree from the Faculty of Applied Arts in Belgrade, where she studied Conservation and Restoration, developing a deep understanding of material properties, techniques, and the processes through which visual forms take shape.

Her work is driven by a sensitivity to color, light, structure, harmony, and line, which she explores as fundamental elements of visual language. Moving between painting, photography, scenography, and other forms of visual art, she investigates the relationships between surface and depth, gesture and process, intuition and structure.

Drawing inspiration from nature and everyday surroundings, AnaMarija transforms details, textures, and fleeting impressions into layered visual compositions. Her practice embraces experimentation and the interplay of different media, allowing images and materials to intersect, evolve, and reveal new perspectives. Rather than remaining within the boundaries of a single discipline, her work unfolds through an ongoing exploration of perception, materiality, and the subtle dialogue between the visible and the felt.

Alongside her independent artistic practice, AnaMarija has worked as a member of the art department on numerous film and television productions in Serbia and internationally. Combining technical expertise with a distinct artistic sensibility, she contributes to the visual identity of each project through an understanding of color, texture, atmosphere, and space.
